Training & Knowledge – Making New Technologies Easy to Understand
New technologies require knowledge, confidence in application, and trust. This applies just as much to construction as it does to industrial textile manufacturing and production technology. A product data sheet alone is rarely enough. For new materials, processes, and applications to succeed in practice, everyone involved in planning, development, manufacturing, processing, and execution must speak the same language.
rothycon provides knowledge transfer for companies, designers, precast manufacturers, production facilities, and decision-makers. Services range from basic training courses and in-house education programs to hands-on workshops and professional support for the introduction of new applications, products, and manufacturing processes.
The goal is to make complex topics easy to understand, reduce barriers to adoption, and help customers assess new technologies objectively, identify their potential, and plan the next steps with confidence.
Training for the Construction Industry
The construction sector focuses on non-metallic reinforcement, carbon concrete, and textile reinforcement systems. These technologies create new opportunities for new construction, rehabilitation projects, precast concrete production, and applications exposed to corrosion risks.
rothycon provides fundamental knowledge, practical expertise, and application-oriented insights covering planning, design, manufacturing, and execution. The focus extends beyond the material itself to include processing methods, performance limits, quality assurance, economic considerations, and the reliable implementation of innovative solutions in real-world construction projects.
Training programs are designed for companies, engineers, designers, precast manufacturers, contractors, and decision-makers who want to better understand, evaluate, and successfully apply non-metallic reinforcement and textile reinforcement systems in practice.
Carbon Concrete Certification Course
A key component of the training portfolio is the CARBON CONCRETE CERTIFICATION COURSE. This three-day program is designed for professionals and companies seeking to apply carbon concrete in concrete repair projects in a technically sound and compliant manner. The main focus is on concrete rehabilitation using non-metallic reinforcement and various material combinations.
The course is delivered jointly by the specialized companies vorobis®, CARBOCON, and rothycon.
Course Structure:
- Day 1: Theoretical coaching and technical fundamentals
- Day 2: Practical training in wet-spray application and manual installation techniques
- Day 3: Examination of participants in both theory and practical application
Successful completion of the course confirms that both individuals and companies meet the requirements for concrete rehabilitation using carbon concrete and are capable of applying these technologies on construction sites.
Certification and proof of competency are provided in cooperation with GÜB e. V. Berlin and supported by the officially recognized testing, inspection, and certification body Applus+ IMA Dresden.
The certification course can be attended at ABZ Augsburg or organized as an individual in-house training program through CARBOCON.
Warp Knitting & Textile Technology Training
Another key focus area is cross-industry textile development, including warp knitting, 3D CAD design, mechanical engineering, automation, and industrial manufacturing. In advanced textile applications, success depends not only on the material itself but also on the interaction between yarn, structure, machinery, production processes, and the final application.
rothycon provides expertise in warp knitting processes, textile structures, manufacturing workflows, automation opportunities, and technological transformation projects. The central objective is to demonstrate how textile technologies can be transferred into industrial production environments in an economical, reliable, and application-oriented way.
Drawing on many years of international experience in mechanical engineering, warp knitting, technical textile development, automation, and construction-related applications, rothycon combines technological expertise with practical implementation know-how. This enables the delivery of training courses and workshops that support companies in product development, manufacturing, process optimization, and the successful market introduction of innovative solutions.
